We are experts in Microcement finishes and effects.
As concrete interior specialists, we offer a wide range of amazing finishes for residential and commercial clients. We have in-house expertise in; microcement walls and Baxab Floors, furniture decorating with the microcement as well as stunning metal effect surfaces.
Thanks to the versatile range of materials we use, there really is not much that we can't do.
Microcement Walls
Lately, we have really been pushing the limits with microcement for walls. Utilising advanced trowel movements usually used in Venetian plastering, we can produce a wide range of exclusive patinas and textures. With a massive choice of textures, colours and finishes, there is an unlimited combination of options available.
Few of the options are shown on this page, but please get in touch with your thoughts and requests, and we will be happy to show you what we can do.
Microcement can be placed straight over virtually any existing wall finish. However, as it's only 3-4mm thick, it will follow the shapes of the existing wall, so we always ask that newly walls to have a skim coat in advance.
Microcement Textures
These are some of the finishes that we can offer with Microcement.
Microcement Floors
For the floors, we use the new Microcement Baxab
It is a concrete finish that can be applied to most existing surfaces. It offers a contemporary, lightweight, waterproof & stain-resistant floor finish.
It has all the qualities and appearance of concrete without the weight.
Whether it is a distressed, burnished look that you are looking for or a more elegant polished concrete look, we offer a selection of industrial finishes for Baxab flooring.
While we love the industrial look, there are many other looks we offer. Our microcement is available in an extensive range of colours and textures so you can get the look of luxurious stones without joints or grout lines.
Our microcement floors are applied by hand only; therefore, we can install it seamlessly over multiple surfaces. Whether you are looking to have one continuous floor across external and internal surfaces or you would like to visually integrate steps or walls, there is always a solution we can provide.
Microcement Bathrooms
Because Microcement is entirely waterproof when properly sealed, it makes a fantastic and modern alternative to tiles. It can be seamlessly applied across the shower floor and walls, bath panels and any other bathroom without any limit.
Lately, we have seen more and more interest in more unusual colours and luxury textures. When we say microcement is not just about achieving an industrial look, it is an alternative to other finishes with limitless possibilities.
What is Microcement?
The applications of Microcement enable producing unusual spaces with floors and walls coated with a material that is characterised by its nobility and versatility.
Microcemento® is a coating made of a cementitious and polymeric element that has excellent flexibility and excellent adhesion power to many materials and surfaces. Microcemento® application is entirely handmade, and up to 7 layers reach a thickness of only 2-3 mm. It allows covering any type of horizontal or vertical surface, internally or externally, creating dramatic continuous surfaces.
What is Baxab?
Baxab® is the only microcement on the market with extreme hardness. It represents the next technological step. The combination of two new exclusive materials allows achieving protection levels never before produced by other products in the segment.
The contrast concerning Microcement is clear: We recommend the use of Baxab® when the use of floor is intensive or demands high resistance. In a similar way as Microcement, Baxab® has an excellent bonding strength that allows it to be applied on most surface. It is perfect for homes and especially attractive for shops, hotels and other public spaces.
Real Metals
The REAL METALS collection is our elite line of finishes.
Due to the characteristics of its components, it is suitable solely for interiors, being able to be fitted on both floors and walls.
The REAL METALS collection produces a magic effect by creating covers that look like real metal. Interior walls or furniture in brass, bronze zinc, aluminium, copper and Corten steel, will appear in your rooms as a sign of real of luxury, design and exclusivity.
T / Rustic
T / Rustic is a rougher grain microcement, providing it with a coarse finish. It is rougher, with a less polished look ideally suited to rural aesthetics.
T / Rustic transmits to us the beauty of raw materials, which blend and integrate with nature, combining the technical advantages of Microcement continuous surfaces with the appeal of natural materials.
Its thicker texture size provides it with a greater surface hardness, which, together with its special textured appearance, also makes it perfect for industrial aesthetic environments.
Heated Microcement
It is an invisible electric mat that is incorporated into its micro-coating. It allows the creation of an ecosystem with an ideal warmth for any room - including wet areas and kitchen. It can be applied to walls or ceilings.
The heat conduction system is remarkably robust, safe and stable; the surface permits it to be drilled, to install independent electrical outlets or to install other devices without any problems.
How much does it cost?
Depending on the effect that you are looking for and the size of the wall, the cost will be around £100 - £170 plus VAT. All prices are subject to a site visit. The additional preparation of uneven or cracked walls will incur small additional costs.
We offer you a broad range of finishes, where you apply the boundaries. It brands your rooms with a unique and individual character, thanks to the various textures (thick, medium or fine), the wide variety of colours, the different varnish finishes (matte, satin or gloss), or metallic-effect paints and glazes.
Design the style you want: modern, classic or rustic. The decision is yours, and the joy of advising and helping you is ours.
